Archery and crossbow is the most multi-discipline industry across our complex. A single bow program will route through the CNC facility for the riser and cam set, the composites facility for the limbs, the molding section for the grip and stock, the soft-goods area for wrist straps and bow cases, the finishing line for anodize and hydrographic camo, and the assembly hall for full integration with draw-curve and velocity verification. Compound bows. Across competition, hunting, and bowfishing tiers — every level from entry-tier value bows up to elite hunter and competition flagships. Riser materials span the full range we machine: 6061-T6 and 7075-T6 from plate or forged blank, rare-earth ultra-strength magnesium for premium tier, and full carbon-fiber molded risers where weight and damping matter most. Die-cast for high-volume mid tier, forged-and-machined for premium. Archery and crossbow is the only industry where every one of our capabilities runs at heavy intensity on a typical program. A compound bow build moves through every section of the factory — the riser is machined, the limbs are cured, the grip is molded, the wrist-strap and bow case are sewn, the surfaces are anodized and dipped, and the whole bow is assembled and tested. Archery and crossbow QC is built around purpose-built test equipment, much of it custom-designed for our facilities. Sophisticated draw and cycle machines measure deflection and displacement of major bow components under stress. Live-shot cycling machines cycle assembled bows through thousands of shots to test for fatigue and durability. Custom-built dedicated rigs test critical components — triggers, releases, cranks — in isolation. Drop test and vibration test rigs validate sights and accessories against the violent dynamics of high-poundage bows. Hexagon CMM and UV weathering on every riser. Bow programs go quickest when the engineering review covers the whole build — riser geometry, limb spec, cam profile, accessory scope, cosmetic spec, and the test regime — at the same time. The advantage of running a bow program with us is that the composite cure, the riser machining, the molded grip, the finishing, and the final assembly all happen in the same complex with a single program manager. Material movements between sections are a few hours rather than international shipping; design changes propagate across the bill of materials in a single revision cycle; the draw-curve and velocity test data comes from the assembly area that built the bow.

Quote turn-around runs five to seven business days for new programs. First article cycle three to four weeks (longer if custom hydrographic patterns or custom anodize colors need to be locked in). Production schedules typically held to ±2 days at high volume.

Riser, limb, cam, and grip geometry. Critical surfaces flagged — sight rail dovetail, limb pockets, cam axle bores, grip interface. PMI / GD&T preferred on critical features.
Draw weight target & force-draw curve
Peak draw weight, draw length, let-off percentage, valley shape, brace height. Reference IBO velocity if applicable. We design the cam-and-string system to deliver against this curve and verify per unit.
Limb material tier
E-glass / balsa for entry & mid tier, carbon prepreg for premium & competition. Drives cycle time, cost, and feel. Mixed-tier programs supported.
Cosmetic specification
Anodize colors (Pantone or sample plate), two-color graphics layout, hydrographic pattern reference if applicable, gloss target, brand graphics with vector artwork, dampener and accessory color callouts.
Cam profile & string spec
Cam timing, draw stop position, string and cable lengths, serving spec, peep alignment. Customer-specified or our-design-from-target depending on program scope.
Accessory integration scope
Sight, rest, quiver, stabilizer, dampener — included in our build or customer-supplied for retail packaging. Determines the assembly area layout and final-pack scope.
Volume forecast & retail channel
Annual quantity, monthly cadence, retail-channel mix (specialty pro-shop / big-box / DTC). Drives tool design, cosmetic-class targets, and packaging-and-traceability requirements.
